On September 22nd, 1995, Santa Fe and Burlington Northern merged to become the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway. The company’s name was later shortened to BNSF Railway. To celebrate their 25th Anniversary, BNSF added the heralds of eight (8) predecessor railroads to 10 ES44AC locomotives. ScaleTrains is excited to partner with BNSF and be the only N manufacturer to offer these commemorative locomotives. These specially decorated FVM GEVO locomotives are now available as DCC with sound and DCC ready versions.
